Learn More About Aaron Overhead Doors and Larry Conte
I’m Larry Conte, owner of Aaron Overhead Doors of Monterey. Aaron Overhead Doors has been serving homeowners and businesses in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties since 1968. My family took over the company in 2001, and I stepped in full-time after my father, Frank Conte, retired in 2012. Since then, I’ve worked hard to grow the business while staying true to the values we’re known for—honesty, expert workmanship, and reliable service.
Garage doors have been a big part of my life for over two decades, and I’m proud to carry on a tradition of quality and trust that started long before I took the reins.
A Family with a Long History of Garage Door Service
Whether we’re installing a custom wood garage door, fixing a broken spring, or helping someone choose the right style for their home, we do it with care and attention to detail. I believe great service comes from experience, and after working in this industry for so many years, I know how to spot a problem fast and fix it right the first time.
Right Way Garage Door Partnership
In August 2024, Aaron Overhead Doors was acquired by Right Way Garage Doors, an operating brand of Guild Garage Group. Larry stayed. He continues to run day-to-day operations out of Monterey, keeping the crew, the standards, and the local relationships in place under a larger parent company. Among people in the regional garage door industry he picked up the nickname “Larry Legend,” which has outlasted whoever started it.
The name on the paperwork changed. The people showing up at the house did not.
This change allows us to expand what we offer while keeping the same local team and commitment to customer satisfaction. I’m still here, running day-to-day operations and making sure every job reflects the high standards our customers expect.
If you need garage door help, you’re in the right place. I look forward to serving you.
